The first-known Fanged Wyvern of the Monster Hunter series, as well as flagship monster of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.
Known as the "Thunder Wolf Wyvern", the Zinogre resembles a blue-scaled wolf with horns, sharp claws, a huge tail, and spikes on its back which stick out when enraged. In battle it uses its agility to destroy its enemies, then charges up until its body starts glowing blue, at which point its power and speed is further increased.
Monster Hunter 3 G will introduce a black-scaled Subspecies.
