An android weathergirl character of a Japanese weather forecasting company Weathernews.

Official name: WEATHEROID Type A Airi (though other types do not yet exist)
"Airi" comes from Yamagishi Airi, a weather reporter at Weathernews who is the "voice model" and "manager" of Weatheroid. Airi is often referred to by fans as "Ponko", which later became official.

Debuting in 2012, she's considered a forerunner to virtual YouTubers, one of many Pioneers, and would later join them as well.
