wario
Warui (わるい, Japanese for bad, evil, etc.) + Mario = Wario
Mario's self-proclaimed rival. A crass, selfish, greedy anti-hero who sports superhuman strength. Frequently breaks the fourth wall in various promotional material.
Partner in crime with Waluigi and stars in his own series: Wario Land and WarioWare.
His trademark appearance is having a yellow shirt, a yellow cap with a "W" and purple overalls. He also has white gloves, green pointy shoes, a zig-zagged mustache and a big pink nose. He used to have long sleeves, but ever since Wario land II he is now depicted with having short sleeves to emphasize his muscles.
