(Taishou Baseball Girls)
A light novel series, with anime and manga adaptions, by Kagurasaka Atsushi, with illustrations by Koike Sadaji, about a group of middle school girls in Japan during 1925 who form a baseball team at their school.
The series is about them overcoming the challenges they face starting as a team of novices working to be able to compete on a equal footing against experienced teams while also facing discrimination for being women playing a "man's sport."
