A famous landmark in Seattle, Washington, built for the 1962 World's Fair. An elevator leads visitors to the viewing deck and restaurant.

Most pictures of it are taken from Queen Anne Hill facing south toward downtown. In real life, it is shorter than most of the downtown buildings and is placed quite a distance away from them.
