When a character "ships" other characters - that is, they show a comical interest in the romantic relations of other characters (Danbooru post #1413853), or in pairing them up in their imagination when there's actually nothing going on (Danbooru post #948771).
Some representative forms of this phenomenon are "yuri goggles" and "yaoi goggles", but this tag is gender neutral and can include hetero shipping as well.
