The story takes place seven years before the original manga. It features Leo Aiolia as the main character, following his exploits after his brother's apparent betrayal of Athena and the Saints. It was followed by two sequels, Saint Seiya: Episode.G Assassin and Saint Seiya: Episode.G Requiem.
