Soviet Cold War era experimental secret heavy tank program, designed for nuclear warfare and to operate under battlefields contaminated with nuclear, chemical, and biological agents. Its first prototype was developed in 1959. Its odd shape was designed to withstand the intense shockwave winds from a thermonuclear blast.

The program was finally cancelled due to change in doctrines and general obsolesce of heavy tanks in favor of MBTs (Main Battle Tanks).
