In 2021, it was paired with the phrase "no bitches?", implying the viewer's status of having no lovers to call upon is something that disappoints Megamind greatly.
The trend of drawing different characters with the expression arguably began with monotone ink's version, depicting Melina from the at-the-time recently released Elden Ring.
