Newcastle is a large dark-skinned man in a suit of futuristic armor worn over a purple bodysuit. He wears a helmet with a visor that obscures the top half of his face, and has a large beard. He is bald and has brown eyes under the helmet.
His real name is Jackson Williams (alias Lamont Craig), Bangalore's presumed dead older brother. He took on the Newcastle armor and legend persona to protect Harris Valley from the Forgotten Families after the original Newcastle was killed for failing to repay a hefty debt to them.
