meal
Refers to a time of day when a large portion of food is eaten in order to not be hungry throughout the day. Usually broken down into breakfast, lunch and dinner. Feast and bento are also other forms of meals that can be enjoyed.
The opposite of a meal is a snack, or a light amount of food to sate oneself until a proper meal.
