mayan (macross)
The name of an island in the South Pacific ocean that appears in the MACROSS anime series. It first appeared in the Macross Zero OVA from 2002.
Mayan Island is a place filled with ancient Protoculture artifacts.
The Mayan people are an indigenous group of natives from that island. Their shamans can interact with those devices through ancient sacred chants.
Their official languages are French and Mayan.
