One of the main antagonists of One Piece, also called Blackbeard.
The captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, promoted to Shichibukai after the downfall of Crocodile, a title he merely used to break into Impel Down where he recruited a number of powerful level 6 prisoners. He later became one of the Four Emperors after defeating his former captain Edward Newgate in the climax of the Summit War of Marineford.
Having consumed the Yami Yami no Mi Devil Fruit he can basically turn into a black hole and control gravity, as well as capable of nullifying any Devil Fruit user by touching them.
He somehow absorbed Whitebeard's shock-creating Gura Gura no Mi powers after his death, becoming the first and possibly only user to possess two Devil Fruit powers at the same time.
