lilith (evangelion)
The second angel from Neon Genesis Evangelion who initially appears as a white, legless giant, whose face is covered with a mask displaying the logo of Seele. Numerous human-like legs protrude from its legless stumps, it was at first thought to be Adam and is usually seen stuck to a crucifix and bleeding LCL.
Not to be confused with Lilith (Ayanami Rei), which refers to the all-white giant Rei version which appears in The End of Evangelion.
Later in the series it is revealed that all human beings are the spawn of Lilith, and that humanity as a whole is actually the 18th angel, Lilin.
