This could be explained by Faelantern being an Aberration, but other Aberrations don't follow this trend.

Meat Lantern's E.G.O suit is the standard armored suit found in Lobotomy Corporation, made of a fluffy material resembling wool with a green light bulb in the chest area.
Its weapon looks like a mace with teeth.
