The first antagonist seen in Wild Arms 3, Janus is a notoriously overconfident Drifter who hunts for treasure with his two partners Dario Nicolodi and Romero Gigio. Unlike typically arrogant people, Janus can live up to his boasts most of the time due to his fighting talents and street smarts. He expresses affection for Virginia Maxwell, calling her 'Princess' (or 'Ojou-san' in Japan) and primarily fighting her team for her attention. Unfortunately, Janus has the bad habit of betraying his comrades for selfish reasons, which leaves him at the Three Prophets' mercy in the end. Janus' character design and weapon are inspired from Wild Arms 2's Ashley Winchester.
