i-8 (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese submarine I-8. Nicknamed "Hachi/Hacchan". Character design by Syobonne, voiced by Misato.
She has medium-length blonde hair in low twintails, blue eyes framed with glasses, and large breasts. She wears a school swimsuit with her name tag on it along with white thighhighs and a peaked cap.
Sometimes, she will refer to herself as "Acht" ("eight" in German) by mistake. As her historical counterpart made a round trip between Japan and Germany, several of her lines are peppered with German. She is also an avid reader, which is translated as torpedoes launching out of books.
