He is the son Donquixote Homing and the older brother of Donquixote Rocinante, both of whom he killed out of feeling betrayed by them.
Having consumed the Ito Ito no Mi Devil Fruit, he can create strings to cut or pull things.
Former Celestial Dragon, descended from the Donquixote Family. After being defeated by both Monkey D. Luffy and Trafalgar Law, his position as a Warlord was revoked and he was imprisoned at Impel Down's Level 6 for abusing his privilege and ruling the kingdom of Dressrosa with an iron fist.
