cy-kill

サイキル Cy-Kill トンカは即そぉい! トンカは即そぉい バイクロボ

Main antagonist sentient variable robot of Tonka's GoBots franchise from the 80s.

Cy-Kill is the extremely evil, sinister and psychopathic leader of the GoBot Renegade faction. His alternate mode is a blue, white and red motorcycle.

Cy-Kill is based on Bike Robo, a heroic character in Popy's Machine Robo 600 Series (the earliest line of the toys).
The original Bike Robo and other Machine Robo 600 members appeared as supporting characters in the 80s anime Machine Robo Chronos no Gyakushuu.

When Tonka was bought by Hasbro in 1991, like Transformers, the brand was acquired by Hasbro as well. Since then, the poor Gobots—especially Cy-Kill—haven't been very fortunate.

The denizens of Japanese Futaba Channel imageboard managed to "import" the notorious "Transformers kill Gobots" joke to their community — although only to one of their four servers.

The two memes below originated from Futaba:

  • Meaningless jargon トンカは即そぉい! ("Tonkaz should get dumped ASAP!")
  • Cy-Kill who speaks in the same tone of voice as Father (Shinsei Motemote Oukoku). They insist that Cy-Kill's face that was adapted to look "evil" in the cartoons, looks just like Father.
