Crain Brain is an evil member of the GoBot Renegade faction. His alternate mode is a yellow crane truck.

Crain Brain's original toy was first released in Japan in 1983. His official name in the Machine Robo anime series is Crane Robo.

The GoBots version was eventually released in the United States a year later.
