A type of performance-optimized one-piece swimsuit that is commonly worn in swimming meets and competitions. They are different from more casual one-pieces in having a racerback as opposed to "backless" ones, and they appear to have a slimming effect, allowing for easier movement through the water. Real-world designs also tend not to emphasize cleavage, since having the chest area exposed is not optimal for hydrodynamics.
