Cheese is a fictional character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Cheese is distinguished from other Chao by their red bowtie. Cheese, being a Chao, does not have a gender, but is sometimes referred to as male.

Cheese is also Cream the Rabbit's pet Chao, hence the play on words; "cream and cheese".
