A fictional character from the Gundam series. He first appeared in the Zeta Gundam TV anime series from 1985. Also appears in the sequel TV series Gundam ZZ (1986) and the anime film Char's Counterattack (1988).

Astoinage Medoz is the chief Mobile Suit mechanic of the AEUG Argama and Nahel Argama military spacecraft. He later becomes part of the Londo Bell fleet and the chief MS mechanic in the Ra Cailum spacecraft, where he starts a relationship with MS pilot Kayra Su. He died during the final battle of the Second Neo Zeon War when a stray Geara Doga beam rifle shot hit him while attending MS units at the ship's launch pad.
