amagi (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese aircraft carrier Amagi. Character designed by Kuuro Kuro, voiced by Horie Yui.
She has long brown hair tied to a high, wide ponytail, brown eyes, large breasts, and a Japanese maple leaf hair ornament on her ponytail.
At base form, she wears a floral pattern green kimono with a green obi bearing her real-life flight deck camouflage pattern, and carries her banner-rod wrapped on her back. Her rigging consists of two hull pieces painted in green, bearing her real-life bridge and anti-aircraft guns. When she is damaged, she slumps sideways, a reference to how she was sunk in real-life.
She has a high-strung, yet still "mature woman" personality, with a lack of confidence in her abilities and constant worry about air attacks. Her depiction in doujin works tend to run more towards the Yamato Nadeshiko end of the spectrum, focusing upon the personality implied by her unusually ornate and formal clothing in her unremodeled state.
