In 2009, Yilin was the official cosplayer of Kasumi from the Dead or Alive series, promoting the cancelled PC game Dead or Alive Online. Yilin appeared in a 20-second commercial for DOA Online as Kasumi alongside Alicia Liu, who portrayed Ayane.
