A shoujo manga series by Yoshida Reiko and illustrated by Ikumi Mia. It was adapted into a 53 episode anime series and two video games. Tokyo Mew Mew New aired from July 2022 to September 2022. A second season was announced for 2023.
The illustrator, Ikumi Mia, passed away on March 7, 2022.
