NINJA GAIDEN is a series of action/action-adventure games developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo. The title was originally used as the North American title of Tecmo's "Ninja Ryuuken Den / Shadow Warriors" series. "Ninja Ryuuken Den ("Classic" Ninja Gaiden)" and this series share the same main character.
