A major character from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

Abiru's name literally translates to "拳[を]浴びる" - "kobushi (wo) abiru" ("to bathe in fists") - referring to her frequent injuries and bandages around her body. Often thought to be a victim of domestic violence, when in reality her injuries are caused by irate animals whose tails she loves to pull. Also possesses heterochromia eyes, although her green left eye (the other is red) is often covered by an eyepatch.
